Things Dandies Like, Part 1

A Well-Feathered Top Hat
Any dandy worth his salt does enjoy a jaunty feather or two stuck into one's chapeau.
But here, we venture into the territory of Dangerously Dandy.
This is the area where one's topper is guaranteed to weigh in at least three stone.
So, remember, if you're at risk of your hat flying off on it's own accord, add more.
It's impossible to have too many feathers.

Why yes, I did just feature myself.
How could I not? Just take a gander at the coat and choice of neckwear.
And the big lacy brooch. Yes. Dandy indeed.
And for curious minds, the drink is a gin and tonic.

Phil Powell

This chap is easily one of the foremost dandies of today.
With his permission, he will be prominently featured again in the future.
Every outfit of his I've seen is beyond words in sheer class and sophistication.
All I can say is, "Good form!"

Accessories? What are those?
As is par for Mr. Ashby, a brilliant show of brooches, belts and such.

Goth Dandiness. You're doing it right. A velvet-collared coat is always a great choice.
Combined with the splash of red from the tie/cravat and the silver from the fleur-de-lis and chain, it's a brilliant ensemble.

H.M.

A perfectly tied cravat, meticulously sculpted facial hair, and yes, a giant orange ostrich plume.
Need I say more?

Maxwell Huxley - The Mad Dandy

"I am the very model of a Dandy extraordinaire
A velvet coat, a black top hat, and a plethora of steampunk flair"

Allow me to introduce LATFD.

We're all familiar with LATFHipster, correct? Well, I made a quip last night whilst going through photos with some friends that I should start a blog of a similar nature to the aforementioned, but with dandies, fops, and so on. So, here it is! Version 1.0 at that.

Now, here's where you come in, folks. Send in photos, or volunteer someone, but please, have prior permission, or know that the chap is a good sport.

All submissions can be sent to LATFDandy@hotmail.com

We have a volunteer for our first, so, I'll have that posted as soon as I get a picture.

Until then, darlings, don't stop being dandy.
